CTO of SECaaS, contracting at NGA, FEMA, and other agencies
Large enterprises have complex and demanding operating environments that require many people and large budgets to maintain. This talk will present experiences over a one year period within a large enterprise that required well over 1000 full-time cybersecurity engineers, operators and analysts and their respective managers to handle the workload.
In summary, the standard operating procedures in cybersecurity engineering and operations need improvements. Advances have been realized by routine cybersecurity task automation that can free up time for engineers, analysts, operators, auditors and managers to focus on the big picture in cybersecurity.
Metrics and early results of disruptive technology for improving team efficiency, effectiveness & quality of results cybersecurity engineering, operations and analysis will be presented.
