ISSA Nova Director of Sponsorship Ms. Veena Harish was honored to represent Microsoft’s Asian Employee Resource Group (ERG) at the NASDAQ opening bell at the Nasdaq MarketSite located at 4 Times Square (43rd & Broadway), New York City on 05/28/2024. She is proud to work for Microsoft a company that values diversity. She stated that she is “proud to be a first-generation Asian American immigrant and is grateful for my supportive parents and family who are always rooting for her.” Veena is an immediate impact board member for ISSA Nova. In less than one year on the board she is instrumental in obtaining new ISSA Nova corporate sponsors, chapter members, and industry leading speakers. Veena Harish is a Senior Technical Program manager with Microsoft since 2021, leading Security, Privacy and Compliance programs. She previously worked for Aflac for 17 years in various capacities in IT, Strategy and Global Security leading complex programs. She holds a degree in Computer Science and is certified Computer Information System Manager (CISM).
